MSME Registration
MSME stands for micro, small and medium enterprises and any enterprise that falls under any of these three categories. Any person who intends to establish a micro, small or medium enterprise may file Udyam Registration. The MSME status of the organization gives numbers of incentives. Micro, Small and Medium sized enterprises in both the manufacturing and service sector can obtain MSME Registration under the MSMED Act. Though the MSME registration is not statutory, it is beneficial for business at it provides a range of benefits such as eligibility for lower rates of interest, excise exemption scheme, tax subsidies, power tariff subsidies, capital investment subsidies and other support. Documents required for Registration
- PAN Card Copy of applicant
- Aadhar card Copy of applicant / partner / director
- A color passport size photos of applicant
- Name and type of business of Business (nature of business activities)
- Date of start of business
- Bank account details of the business
- Copy of ownership document/Index copy of shop / office / place of business if property is owned by applicant
- Rent agreement of shop / office / place of business if the property is taken on rent with latest electricity bill
- A copy of utility bill (latest of two months)
- Number of people working under applicant
- If business is under partnership / LLP / trust form, then copy of partnership deed
- If business is under company / society form, then copy of Memorandum of Association
- Copy of income tax return of last two years
